A delightfully down-to-earth, warmly engaging, and intuitive facilitator and workshop leader, Claire connects with a bright, open energy that invites people to feel safe and at home, no matter the setting. Claire can light-heartedly yet masterfully focus group energy while staying tuned in to each person. Participants feel at ease and inspired at the same time.
With a richly textured background that includes degrees in Holistic Human Development and Transpersonal Counseling Psychology, Claire brings nearly 40 years of grounded experience to her work with students and clients.
She has served as a professional group facilitator for a diverse range of groups, teams, and guilds, including women-in-transition, women entrepreneurs, healing arts practitioners, environmental educators, new empty-nesters, career changers, and college freshmen.
Claire is certified by the Hendricks Institute for Conscious Living as a body-centered transformation coach. The institute's founders, Gay and Kathlyn Hendricks, train bold pioneers in authentic relating, presence, vibrance, and easeful manifesting. In addition to these coaching certifications, Claire studied intensively in Ojai, California, with Gay and Katie for over five years and participated in their advanced Transformational Leaders Program, Conscious Entrepreneurs Program, Couples Catalyst, and dozens of live training programs.
Claire’s ‘life toolbox’ draws on extensive studies in social and environmental psychology and advanced professional training in the very practical Western feng shui. A 1998 graduate of the Western School of Feng Shui in San Diego, Claire studied directly under Terah Kathryn Collins. In the 90s, she also studied with the visionary sustainability and feng shui architect Tom Bender on the Oregon Coast and interior designer Denny Daikeler, an innovative, internationally renowned teacher whose approach marries spirituality and environmental psychology.
An energy worker herself, Claire loves working with creatives, healers, and artists to co-create enlivening environments—and lives—where exuberant creativity blossoms. In helping people shape inviting, intelligent, deeply nourishing internal and external spaces, magic happens.
Magic that makes life easier.
Magic that heals.
Magic that nourishes the heart & soul every day.
Claire's Renaissance-woman background includes 19+ years in private practice as a Licensed Massage Therapist in private practice in the lush Willamette Valley of Oregon. In her mid-20s, she spent three years as a wilderness-based Outward Bound-style group facilitator, helping people access nature's transformational and healing powers on the wild rivers and lakes of northeastern Minnesota and northern Wisconsin.

“Claire has a warm, healing, and inclusive presence that draws people together. I appreciate her ever-present invitations to play with possibility and shift into ease.
— Katie Nicholson, Sweet Spot participant

In Claire’s own words
“My life is fed by the ongoing practice of and commitment to ease, conscious appreciation, and creative expression. (Recommitment is also ongoing!)
As a healing arts practitioner with nearly 40 years of experience facilitating women's personal growth groups, I’ve walked shoulder to shoulder with countless soul sisters, resonating with the Buddhist concept of kalyana mitra, which means friend on the spiritual journey.
I feel deeply attuned to the energy that connects us all, and I cherish the creative spaces we explore together. I recognize the beauty in each life tapestry and the divine essence that resides within us. I’m passionate about supporting you in the transformative commitment of reinventing yourself in every moment.
Looking up the root of the term ‘facilitator’, I find the word ‘facile’ — French for ‘easy’. Perfect. So that is who I am — I’m an easifier. Or, more simply, I’m an easer. I bring ease. Not so much bring, but rather, re-remind.
And more than that, I’m an inviter. I invite collaboration with our inherent wholeness, our original rhythm of yes, our wholesome participation with our downstream inclinations, and our entire beings nodding yes, yes, yes.
I learned, finally, happily, with great sighs of aaaahhh... that nothing I wanted for myself was upstream.
And many days, I re-learn it.
I learned, deep in my cells and interstitial spaces, that ALL of life is FOR me, all of life is participating with The Great Current.
And like all innate gifts, I come by my ability for Easing and Inviting by way of its opposite… An environment-of-origin that was anything but easy and inviting.
So here I am, living inside this healing and ever-growing expanse of my whole self in this characteristic way that humans have. I benefit from this lovely gift we all have for taking our wounds and harvesting the already-there wholeness. It's a perfect alchemy, this turning toward.
And then, joyfully rippling out to my corner of the world the very thing that I had needed most — because I was finally able to claim it fully for myself. I was finally able to let love in.
That’s my story.
I suspect it might be at least a bit of yours, too.
